The Embassy of the Republic of Korea donated a total of 57 copies of 33 titles, including <Korea for Kids>, <Let’s Visit Korea>, <Let’s Learn about Korea: Customs of Korea>, to the National Library Board to provide children with insight to the culture and customs of the Republic of Korea.
These books will be part of the catalogue made available for the children’s section named “World & Us: Learning Beyond Boundaries (WNU)” at the Punggol Regional Library (PRL) which is slated to open in the first half of next year.
This donation of children’s books about Korea follows a series of donations over the past four years – literature books in 2018, Sejong Language School textbooks in 2019, children’s storybooks in 2020, and Korean webtoons/graphic novels in 2021.
