THE 87th TOPIK TEST GUIDELINES


The Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) is a Korean language test for non-native Korean speakers, which is administered by the National Institute for International Education, a branch of the Ministry  of Education in Republic of Korea, and the Korean Education Center of New York (KECNY). The following is the 87th TOPIK information.

      * Test fees are non-refundable.

Guidelines for the testing day ​

  • Arrival Time: You must be seated 30 minutes prior to beginning time of the exam.

  • Bring your ID. You must bring an official identification with photo and date of birth; ID must be valid and information given must be identical with application.

  • No electronic devices. Any kind of electronic device is not permitted, including smart phone, smart watch, tablet device, and recording device. All electronic device must be turned off and submitted to proctors before the exam. Failure to submit any switched-off electronic devices during the exam will be considered as cheating and those whom will not be eligible for the future TOPIK test for the next five years.

  • You can NOT change your test site once application is received and processed

  • During the test: Mark the answer for multiple choices with wide side of the pen. When writing an answer to questions, use the thin side of the pen (Double sided pen will be provided). 

  • You will be recommeded wearing a mask during the test.
