Meet Nina Nelson, the Filipino co-writer of TWICE's new song

K-pop girl group TWICE has returned with a new English single titled “Moonlight Sunrise,” and it’s co-written by a Fil-Am woman.

Nina Ann Nelson is a singer-songwriter born in California, USA.

She is a member of an American girl group Citizen Queen that was formed in 2018 by US record label RCA Records.

Before joining Citizen Queen, Nelson was part of an a capella group at the University of Southern California.

She also forayed into acting where she guested in “NCIS: Los Angeles” in 2014 and “One Day at a Time” in 2019.

Nelson and Citizen Queen co-member Kaedi Dalley took part in writing the latest song of TWICE, which premiered on Jan. 20.
