Events at KCCs abroad

The Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong (KCC), in cooperation with the Hong Kong branch of Eye Level Learning, hosted Korean cultural experience programs for students and their parents on 1.14 (Sat) and 1.26 (Thu).

A total of 50 people, including kindergarteners, primary school students, and parents participated.  The experience program includes ▲ Introduction to Korean culture & Korean Cultural Center ▲ Korean lantern DIY ▲ Try-on Hanbok ▲ Experience traditional games. 

Students and parents who participated in the experience program said, "It was good to experience Hanbok, traditional Korean crafts and games with my family in KCC" . "Lantern DIY was the most enjoyable", "I am glad to join this event with my child, and to keep what we have made as souvenir."

In order to raise Hongkongers' interest in Korean culture and expand the base of the Korean Wave, KCC will continue to expand opportunities to share Korean culture through experiences such as hanbok, traditional Korean games, and crafts. In addition,KCC plans to strengthen its network with local educational institutions and private organizations and continue to host Korean cultural experience programs for primary and secondary schools, universities, lifelong education centers, academies, elderly homes, and youth support groups etc.
