As part of the Kennedy Center's 2023 Lunar New Year Celebration, the traditional performance art group U-hee Company held a live performance on February 2 at 6 p.m. at the center's Millennium Stage.
The group performed their modern performance art work U-hee Nori , which consists of several mini plays that include traditional percussion music and audience interaction. Over 400 guests attended the performance.

The hour-long program included modernly interpreted traditional art performances like samulnori (traditional music with four percussion instruments), pungmulnori (traditional percussive music and dance), spinning of sangmo (a hat with feathers or paper streamers attached to the top and worn when dancing and spinning the wearer's head) and more.
Artists Yoo-kyung Sung, Tae-won Ahn, Seung-won Oh, Dong-geun Lee, Young-ho Lim, Kyung-tae Ji and Han Yang performed at this event.
