Passa Porta Festival, Europe’s biggest multilingual literary festival, is back this year with its ninth edition in physical form. From March 23 to March 26 it will bring more than a hundred international authors together to the vibrant city of Brussels who will participate in a diverse range of readings, meetings, and performances.
Every two years, the international house of literature Passa Porta organizes this well-known festival, the largest multilingual European literature event that is eagerly awaited by many.
A list with the first eight authors who will be in Brussels to take part in the Passa Porta Festival have just been released. Korean novelist Sang Young Park, well known for his novel ‘Love in the Big City’, is mentioned among other authors such as Nobel Prize winner Annie Ernaux, Pakistani writer Mohsin Hamid, British historian Timothy Garton Ash, Dutch philosopher Connie Palmen, Mexican novelist and short-story writer Guadalupe Nettel, Ukrainian writer Oksana Zabuzhko and Malaysian author Tash Aw.
