The Korean Cultural Centre held the first K-Movie Night of the year on Friday, 17 February 2023. The movie, ‘Luck-Key’, tells the story of a perfectionist assassin, Hyung-wook (Yoo Hae-jin), who slips on a bar of soap, falls and hits his head in a sauna, giving him amnesia and a struggling actor who has hit rock bottom, who switches locker keys with him, they switch lives until Hyung-wook starts to remember things.

A total of 70 people attended the K-Movie Night, and Katherine, who attended the movie screening, was delighted, saying, “The Korean Cultural Centre is the only place in South Africa where you can gather with Korean movie lovers and watch Korean movies. The Korean Cultural Centre in South Africa thanked moviegoers for their interest in Korea, and will continue to hold various cultural events in the future.
