14th Annual Conference of the International Society of Korean Applied Linguistics 2023

On February 17, the Director of the Korean Cultural Institute in Italy Chun Yejin participated in the 14th Annual Conference of the International Society of Korean Applied Linguistics 2023 organized by ISKAL and the Ca' Foscari University of Venice with the theme 'The diffusion of the Language and Korean culture in Italy'.

Also in Venice, a company of Hahoebyeolshinguttalnori invited for the Venice Carnival performed in Piazza San Marco for a Talchum show. The Korean Talchum is the traditional Korean masked dance, in which the masks represent certain characters with peculiar characteristics and it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2022.
