On February 18, Consul General Euy Whan Kim joined the 28th SeolBong Scholarship Award Ceremony to congratulate this year’s awardees and recognize the Ryu Family Foundation’s longstanding contribution to the Korean community since its founding in 1994. The foundation awards $2,000 to each selected Korean American student enrolled full-time in undergraduate, graduate, or PhD programs. The award ceremony was held virtually, and 22 young scholars received scholarships this year.
