20th Asian Film Festival in Italy- Best Actress Winner Kim Sun-young

On April 1, during the 20th edition of the Asian Film Festival, the festival dedicated to auteur cinema from East Asian countries in Italy, Korea Day took place, organized in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Institute in Italy, in which screened the 4 Korean films GYEONG-AH'S DAUGHTER (KIM Jung-eun, South Korea, 2022, 117'), DREAM PALACE (KA Sungmoon, South Korea, 2022, 112'), CALL OF GOD (Kim Ki -duk, Estonia, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, South Korea, 2022, 81') and THE ANCHOR (JEONG Ji-yeon, South Korea, 2022, 111') at the Cinema Farnese in Rome.

On Wednesday 5 April 2023, the winners of the international competition were announced on the last day of the Festival. The awards decreed by the jury composed of Enzo Aronica, Marco Lodoli and Roberto Recchioni and, for the verdict of the Newcomers section, by the Unint students. Among the winners goes the Best Actress award to actress Kim Sun-young with the film Dream Palace, South Korea, 2022.
