The Korean Cultural Centre in South Africa invited over 50 local K-pop fans to hold a K-pop quiz event on Saturday, 25 March 2023. K-pop quiz is a challenge! The quiz was conducted in the manner of 'The Golden Bell Challenge' and selected the last remaining person. The event had other programs that could be enjoyed by all participants, such as K-pop random play dance and games.

Questions related to K-pop from 1990 to 2023 were asked in the quiz, including guessing singers, guessing song titles, and the history of K-pop. The last two participants went head to head from question No. 55, and Jedidah Govender, 15, won the race after 66 questions. Jedidah said, "I happened to watch K-pop music videos when I was 10-years old and became a fan of K-pop culture. "It was so much fun because it was an event with K-pop lovers in South Africa joined together," she said.

K-pop is already a global trend and is expected to be a catalyst that can unite not only Korea and South Africa but also all of mankind.
