On May 26th, approximately 2,500 people applied for the K-pop audition at the Korean  Cultural Center. Talented individuals from all around the country, including Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Buriram, as well as neighboring countries such as Myanmar, Laos, India, and China, taken part. The audition queue has wrap all around the building.

Throughout February of this year, the Cultural Center has been holding auditions with Korean agencies in order to provide Thai youth with a variety of opportunities. KCC hope that by holding this audition, more talented Thai youths would be enabled to showcase their talents in Korea. The K-Pop Academy will also be hosted in the second half of the year.
