On April 18, Consul General Euy Whan Kim delivered a special presentation at Princeton University titled “America’s Contribution to Korea’s Prosperity and the Future of Our Partnership.” The event held special meaning as Korea’s first president, Dr. Syngman Rhee, earned his Ph.D. from Princeton as the first Korean national to do so. Additionally, the event marks the 70th anniversary of the bilateral alliance and comes just before the first state visit between the two countries in twelve years.
