The group exhibition 'Spring of Korea ', consisting of the works of nine Korean artists, was presented to the appreciation of Ankara residents at the Korean Cultural Centre.
The exhibition includes spring-themed different works by Choi Dong Ha, Lee Young Hwa, Bluerhee, Jeon Taeyeon, Kim Kyungme, Becci Kim, Bonnie Bang, Lee Jaesoon and Song Youngsook. Choi Dong Ha, one of the artists who came to Ankara for the exhibition, stated that spring represents hope and said: "For me, the goddess of the earth is my mother. In these works, I wanted to give a message of love to all people through the love of mother."
Becci Kim gave information about the technique she used in her works. Kim stated that she worked on metal surfaces using a knife instead of a brush. Park Kee Houng, Director of the Korean Cultural Centre, stated that the exhibition gives a universal message on rebirth and healing. Director Park Kee Houng, informed that they will organise 'Korean Food Competition' on 10 June and 'Korean Music Festival' and 'K-pop Cover Dance Competition' in July.
The "Spring of Korea" exhibition also received a lot of attention from Ankara locals and young children, and will remain open until 16 June.
