Taekwondo exhibition by Demo Team Italia and World Taekwondo Demo Team

The World Taekwondo Rome Grand Prix 2023 kicked off on Thursday, June 8th, with the opening ceremony held in Piazza di Spagna (Rome).

Demo Team Italia performed at the opening ceremony together with some members of World Taekwondo Demo Team who thrilled the authorities and the audience with their wonderful performance.

The exhibition was preceded by institutional greetings from Alessandro Onorato, Councilor for Major Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion of Rome Capital, and Angelo Cito, President of the Italian Taekwondo Federation.

The well-known athlete Vito Dell'Aquila, gold medalist of 2020 Tokyo Olympics, also took part in the event.

The Grand Prix will take place from Friday June 9th to Sunday June 11th.
