As summer has arrived in Sweden, our cultural center has prepared various activities.
1. The first K-POP Nordics Festival was held (June 10)
As the first cultural center opened in the Nordic countries, Koreanskt Kulturceter organized a K-pop event where people from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland gathered. About 800 people joined our first K-pop Nordics Festival and enjoyed the performances of K-pop dancers and singers. We could feel the heat of K-pop here in Nordic as well.
Our Cultural Center plans to promote various cultural events for locals in Sweden and those who reside in other Nordic countries.

2. BADA Library is opening for a trial run (from June 19)
Our cultural center has started a pilot operation of our BADA Library. Since the public opening of the cultural center in February, there have been constant inquiries about borrowing Korean books from our visitors. Thanks to their support, we can now open our library on a trial basis.
Our cultural center will take users' feedback and build a smoother library system.
3. To mark 'Visit Korea Year 2023-24,' Korea Tourism Photo Exhibition is organized (June 19 - July 31)
Visitors can see the Korea Tourism Organization's 2021-2022 photo contest's winning photos and videos in our Cultural Center.
The exhibition will focus on Busan, Jeolla-do, and Gangwon-do, and visitors can get more information about different regions of Korea through the exhibition.

4. Korean Movie Screening shows diverse Korean films
Thanks to OTT platforms, it has become easier to access Korean video content. However, our cultural center presents Korean films that are difficult to access online by organizing our monthly based Korean Movie Screening. In June, two Korean films called Welcome to Dongmakgol and Joint Security Area were introduced.

5. Seminars on visiting Korea were organized
In connection with the Korean tourism exhibition, which runs from June to July, our cultural center held a seminar for people who has plan to visit Korea.
The Study in Korea Seminar was held for prospective exchange students or Korean language learners. From advice for visa application to tips on enjoying college life in Korea, we have prepared various information for prospective international students visiting Korea.
In addition, considering Sweden's long summer vacation, the Travel Korea Seminar was held for prospective travelers visiting Korea. Using a Korean tourist map, we shared ideas and plans about must-visit places, restaurants, etc.
