Events at KCCs abroad

The Korean Cultural Center and the Korea Tourism Organization Istanbul Office organized a "K-Music Festival" in Antalya for the benefit of earthquake victims on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkiye.

Within the scope of the festival held at Antalya Open Air Theater, South Korea's local delicacies and drinks were offered for sale. Participants, who formed long queues despite the hot weather, had the opportunity to taste the flavors of the country and contribute to the earthquake victims.

Traditional games of the country were introduced in the area, local clothes were exhibited, and wishes written in Korean were hung on pine trees by tying ropes. Following the programs here, a K-Pop Cover dance contest was held in the theater area and a K-Music concert was given.

In the concert, South Korean music group "BtoB", Just B consisting of dancers and vocals, Korean singer and songwriter Adya, South Korean dance group SDG Crew and Korean singer and songwriter Kim Sungwon took the stage.

"Since Turkiye and South Korea are 'true friends' who help each other in times of need, we decided to donate all the proceeds from this event to the earthquake-affected areas and hope that these small steps will further deepen the long-standing friendship and cooperation between the two countries," said Park Kee Houng, Director of the Korean Cultural Center.
