Performance by Korean pop-opera group “Elpera” - Jazz&Image-Live@Colosseo event

On August 1st (Tuesday), the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Seong-ho Lee attended a concert performed by the Korean pop-opera group "Elpera" together with the director of the Korean Cultural Center, Ye Jin Chun. The "Elpera" group was invited to the well-known music event "Jazz&Image-Live@Colosseo" held every summer in Rome near the Colosseum and presented their music in front of the local public.
Born in 2016, Elpera is a group made up of two Korean tenors and a baritone. The group aims to touch the audience with heartfelt music, and during this performance, they performed familiar opera arias such as “Nessun Dorma” and “O Sole Mio”, Korean songs such as “Arirang” (Korean traditional folk song), “Let's go travel” (Cho Yong-pil) and “Dynamite” (BTS). The audience, seized by euphoria, sang and danced together with the artists.
