In collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), the KCC is happy to host the 2nd K-Pop MV Contest this year. Re-create your favourite K-Pop artists’ MV or create your original MV of your favourite K-Pop song to enter the contest!

Period: August 10th ~ Oct.6th

How to enter:

1. Choose a K-Pop song and re-create the MV of the song OR;

2. Choose a K-Pop song and create your original MV of the song

3. Upload the finished product to your social media channels (Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, etc)

4. Tag Korean Cultural Centre (#kcccanada, @kcccanada)

5. Send the final file (mp4 format) and the links to your social media channels to kpopcanadakcc@gmail.com by Oct.6th.

Rules:

- You can enter as an individual participant or as a group

- Teams will be scored on Overall Performance and Quality, Originally, and Creativity. Number of views and likes on social media channels will be considered for bonus points.

*Please note that we will only accept MVs that have been uploaded after the starting date of the MV contest to provide a fair ground for all contestants. Covers and MVs that were filmed and/or uploaded before Aug.9th will not be accepted.

Prizes:

Top 2 Teams from each category: Dance & Artistic, will be awarded and their MVs will be featured on KCC’s social media channels and K-Pop events.

First Place: $1,000 Gift Card & $400 value gift

Second Place: $500 Gift Card & $200 value gift
