Quiz on Korea 2023

“Quiz on Korea 2023” is back! “ Organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong and supported by Korean Studies Programme in HKU, Quiz on Korea” is a quiz competition targeting at local secondary school students. Various questions about Korea, including but not limited to Korean history, geography, food, drama & movie, and K-Pop, will be asked in the quiz competition.

*The knowledge of the Korean language is not a must for this competition.

**The Quiz competition will be conducted in Cantonese.

Details

• -Date: 11 November, 2023 (SAT)

• -Time: 1400-1700

• -Venue: The University of Hong Kong

• -Number of participating schools: 10 secondary schools (Group of 5 students)

• -Target participants: F.1-6 students

• *Participating student must be attending secondary school in Hong Kong

• *Participating student and his/her parents are non-Korean in terms of ethnicity and nationality

• -Quiz format: MC questions, short answer questions

Application Method

Teacher in charge should submit the application form to education@kcchk.kr on or before 15 October, 2023. (Name the email title [Quiz on Korea 2023 Application_School Name])

Participating schools will be decided on first-come-first-served basis. Please apply early to ensure your place. Confirmation of successful enrollment will be sent via email on or before October 18.
