The Korean Cultural Center Turkiye held a jazz concert of Korea-Turkey Friendship as part of the Ankara Culture Street Festival, in CSO Ada Tarihi Salon on September 24 (Sunday) to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkiye.

The performance was attended by Korean Ambassador Lee Won-ik, director of the Arts Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkiye Ertan Tarhan, also local jazz lovers, Korean Wave fans, and Korean residents.

The group consisting of Lee Ji-hye trio (pianist Lee Ji-hye, German bassist Joel Rosser, Swiss drummer Fius Bashnagel) and guitarist Chung Ju-yung performed Seoul My Soul, Uri, Duke Ellington masterpieces, Brazilian jazz, and captivated about 500 audiences who visited the venue with various arrangements and elegant performances.
