The Korean Cultural Center in Hungary and the National Gugak Center held a performance of “Jongmyo Jeryeak” in the Erkel Theater in Budapest on 21 September 2023. The performance which was selected as an intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO was part of the Korean Cultural Festival which was organized by the Korean Cultural Center and took place in Budapest with a focus on the K-gugak. The event was a great success with approximately 2000 participants. On the day of the performance, Korean cultural programs were held in the lobby of the Theatre, allowing the audience  to experience the entirety of Korean culture. A special lecture about the Korean music was held, and on the day of the performance, local models were wearing traditional costumes and were operating a photo zone booth to entertain the audience.
