Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles is presenting Korean family movies from May to June 2010.

THE WAY HOME (2002, Jeong-hyang Lee) and BUNT (2007, Gyu-tae Park) were screened at KCCLA theater on May 13 and May 27. Families and friends gathered together and enjoyed the movies celebrating family values. Since it's the time between Mother's Day (May 9) and Father's Day (June 20), it was a good opportunity to reflect on the family and how to make it stronger. THE WAY HOME and BUNT, both well-made and touching family stories, were good choices in May.

Next Thursday (June 10), the last in family movies series, GOODBYE MOM (2009, Gi-hun Jeong), will be presented.
