This event was particularly significant as it was the first large-scale Korean cultural festival held in Brazil with the support of a local Brazilian organization.

According to the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil, 'NS MIRANDA,' the organization that planned and hosted the event, received support from the Brazilian Federal District's Culture and Tourism Ministry to hold this event.

NS MIRANDA stated, "People interested in Korean culture came together to establish the company for this event and planned it to increase ties with Korea in Brasilia."

The festival featured various programs where visitors could experience different aspects of Korean culture, including a performance by the K-pop group 'MustB,' a taste of Korean cuisine, taekwondo demonstrations, karaoke sessions, and hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) experiences.

Additionally, there was a virtual Korean tourism exhibition that utilized multiple large screens to provide indirect experiences of major South Korean tourist destinations like Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Korean Folk Village.

According to the organizers, the festival attracted 45,000 visitors over the two days on October 13 and 14, and it is expected that more than 60,000 people will have attended the festival by the end of the event.

Kim Cheul-hong, director of the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil, stated, "I am very pleased that the K-Festival, a Korean cultural festival, was held for the first time in the capital, Brasilia, where we had the opportunity to introduce Korean culture with the support of the Federal District and various local organizations."

He added, "We will make efforts in various ways so that local residents can continue to enjoy Korean culture in the future."
