Events at KCCs abroad

The exhibition, themed 'Beautiful Flowers in Hanji,' consisted of two works representing the Turkish national flower 'Tulip' and the South Korean national flower 'Mugunghwa' in traditional Korean hanji, as well as works created with the theme of endangered wildflowers. Through these works, it is hoped that the strong diplomatic relations between Turkey and South Korea will continue, and the exhibition was organized with the aim of not forgetting the endangered wildflowers. This marks the eighth regular exhibition hosted by the Korean Cultural Center.

During the opening ceremony, artist Kwon Younghyun expressed the intention behind the exhibition, stating, "I created new works with the hope that the strong bond between South Korea and Turkiye, will continue by showcasing the national flowers of both countries in this exhibition." Further explained, "For those who are interested in flower arrangements, you can appreciate the exhibition more vividly by observing how closely the flowers born from traditional Korean paper resemble real flowers."
