The Korean Cultural Center in Hungary will present two concerts on 14-15 November in House of Music, Hungary. Performances by representative singer-songwriters from South Korea will provide an insight into the aesthetics of Korean-language lyrics for Hungarian audiences. Local audiences can enjoy the magic of the lyrics in Hungarian translation, immersing themselves in the performance through the triad of language, literature and music. These special concerts will take you into the world of Lucid Fall, who is a "poet" in the music world, and the lyrics of Hyunjin Baek, renowned for his artistic versatility.

Film director Chan-wook Park described Hyunjin Baek as “one of only two people in Korea whom I can call a genius without hesitation.” Pina Bausch, a legendary modern dancer of the 20th century, inserted his music into her works such as <Nepes> and invited Hyunjin Baek, a member of the uhuhboo project, to a performance in Germany to perform together. Hyunjin Baek is a Korean actor, contemporary artist, installation artist, performance artist, and musician, and is evaluated as a comprehensive artist who crosses all fields. He is the vocalist of the “Uhuhboo Project” formed with LEENALCHI’s Young-gyu Jang. He also made a film called Eternal Joke as a film director with Hae-il Park, the lead actor of “Decision to Leave,” which won the Best Director Award at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. In this Hungarian performance, a project team consisting of five musicians on the border between jazz and contemporary, led by Hyunjin Baek, meets the audience.

Lucid Fall is an all-round artist working as a musician, writer, film music composer, and farmer. He is also a chemical engineer who graduated from Seoul National University and obtained a Ph.D. from the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland, one of the world's best engineering schools. He is a musician who is currently working on music alongside his life as a farmer growing tangerines and lemons on Jeju Island, the southernmost tip of Korea. In particular, his music, which is famous for its beautiful and lyrical lyrics, is a musician loved by many for its lyrics that deeply express the thoughts behind society in a soft melody. In this Hungarian performance, a trio of piano and guitar percussion will introduce an hour of extraordinary time to the audience.
