PROGRAM:


1. Christmas themed Korean traditional tteok workshop (5:30PM-6:45PM):
You will learn how to make a Christmas themed Korean traditional dessert ‘tteok’. Ggot tteok Is a type of traditional Korean food made from steamed rice flower. Inside it is a sweet paste which is often made with sesame, soy bean powder and sugar. Over 1 hour you will make 6 pieces of special Christmas themed ggot tteok. This workshop has 20 spots only so make sure to apply!


– Ingredients
Dough: rice flour, food colouring
Filling: sesame, soy bean powder and sugar


(All of the ingredients will be provided on the spot for free. However, we won’t be able to tailor the ingredients to individual’s request as it’s prepared for the group.)


2. K-Carol concert by the Hanok (7:00~7:40PM) :
A 40-minute program which consists of Korean Carol’s and your favourite carol translated into Korean. Embrace the holiday spirit with a night filled with enchanting melodies, where the sounds of Korean carol will fill the Hanok.


– Performance group details:


F5 is a group of Korean-Australian friends who share a love for music. The group consists of 3 vocalists and guitarists (Minhee, Stella, David) and pianist (Jake). Together they perform songs of all different style and colours.
