Events at KCCs abroad

On 11 November, the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary hosted an event to introduce Korean Kimchi culture to the families of diplomatic corps in Hungary. Participants learned about the types of kimchi, its benefits, and kimchi culture from Kim Tae-yeon, the culinary researcher of Kimchi Institute, and had the opportunity to try themselves at making kimchi. Finally, the participants could enjoy the freshly made Kimchi and Suyuk (pork belly slices) together. Participants, from teenagers to seniors over 70, gathered from 10 countries, including the United States, Turkey, and Sweden, demonstrating the global popularity of Kimchi.
