Korea Week 2023 / Seminar on Conscious Beauty [K-Beauty]

During Korea Week 2023, two sessions of seminars on Conscious Beauty were held on November 5th and 6th by Ahn Hyo-Eun, CEO of Korean cosmetics brand Yeonji, at the Korean Cultural Center in Rome, Italy.

The seminar focused on the sustainability of Korean beauty and cosmetic products that respect the environment.

The concept of Conscious Beauty was born from the evolution of Clean Beauty, focused on the use of "clean" ingredients that are not harmful to humans in the production of cosmetic products, and Vegan Beauty, which avoids the use of animal ingredients and experiments on them.

For the participants it was an important opportunity to learn how Korea is increasingly moving towards a sustainable future in the Beauty sector.
