- What is the role of Arab young generation for Arab and Korean’s future relationship?

The history of South Korea and Arab countries traces back to the 1970s. During the construction boom in the Middle East in the 1970s, Korean companies and workers ventured into the Arab region, marking the first wave of the Korean Wave (Hallyu) that introduced Korean culture. In the 21st century, the relationship between Korea and Arab countries has evolved beyond the economic sector, extending to various fields such as diplomacy, culture, sports, and the arts. Particularly, Korean cultural content, known as Hallyu, has garnered love not only from Arab countries but also from around the world. BTS from Korea has become a symbol representing Korean popular culture. Many young generations aspire to learn and experience Korean culture, and this phenomenon is not an exception in the Arab region. Many Arab youth are learning Korean, watching Korean dramas, and singing along to Korean songs, thus gaining a deeper understanding of Korean culture and society. Then what will be the future of the young generations of Korea and Arab countries? And what should the Arab youth do to foster the development of relations between Korea and Arab countries? We will talk about this today.
