Riccardo Ajossa, professor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, award cerimony

Riccardo Ajossa, professor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, received the "Commendation for his contribution to cultural promotion abroad" from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, Yu In Chon, for his contribution to the promotion of traditional Korean Hanji paper.

On January 23th, 2024, the award ceremony was held at the Korean Cultural Center in Italy (Rome) during which the director of the Korean Cultural Center, Ye Jin Chun, presented the commendation to prof. Riccardo Ajossa, who contributed to the promotion of traditional Korean Hanji paper in Italy by teaching the production of the paper and by opening various exhibitions dedicated to it. Furthermore, director Chun expressed words of thanks to prof. Ajossa on behalf of the Korean Government.
