A traditional Korean costume exhibition, jointly organized by the Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality, the Korean Cultural Center, and the Turkish Cultural Exchange Association, was held in Eskisehir.
Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality has maintained continuous communication with Paju, South Korea, since signing a sister city agreement in 2007. In this context, a special exhibition was organized through the collaboration of the Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality and the Turkish-Korean Cultural Exchange Association. The opening ceremony of the Korean traditional costume exhibition took place at the Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality Arts and Culture Palace (Opera). The event was attended by Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ilmaz Buyukersen, CHP (Republican People's Party) Member of Parliament Ibrahim Arslan, Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality Secretary-General Rezai Erdemir, Professor Lee Sang-eun, a global researcher in traditional costume culture, as well as Korean scholars, artists, bureaucrats, and residents of Eskisehir.
