‘The Taste of Manhwa’, the exhibition organized and hosted by the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary moves from Budapest to Szeged. A part of the exhibition will be available in Grand Café Szeged from 8 February to 28 March. The selection, which includes a mix of paper and original digital comics for children, teenagers and adults, offers insights into Korean society, as well as the specificities of the manhwa genre.

On the opening day, 8 February 2024, at 7 pm, Zoltán Ádám Szabó will have a talk with Shin Myeong Hwan, the curator of the exhibition and director of the Korean Comics Society, about the 100-year history of manhwa, the future of South Korean comics and the possibilities of artistic exchange.
