On February 14th, the Korean Cultural Center held a wedding ceremony for a Thai-Korean couple at the 'Nonsan Strawberry Festival in Bangkok' at Parc Paragon, Siam Paragon Shopping Mall. The wedding ceremony began with performances by cultural experts, Mr. Yoon Yeoju, Ms. Hong Sungyeon, and Ms. Won Nakyung playing songs such as Festival, Holo Arirang with Hae Geum, and Piri. There was also a performance that combined Korean dance "Taepyeongmu" with traditional Thai dance from Mr. Seksom, Artist under the Ministry of Culture of Thailand.

When the atmosphere at the event became lively, Wedding ceremony of a Thai-Korean couple Mr. Oh Seok-cheon and Ms. Khattiya began, with His Excellency Mr. Park Yong-min, Ambassador of Korea to Thailand, officiating the ceremony.  There is Mr. Chatchat, Governor of Bangkok and Mr. Baek Sung-hyun, Governor of Nonsan City Take on the role of seniors for bribe and groom in the wedding ceremony.

The ceremony begins with the groom walking into the ceremony. When the seniors from both sides lit the candles. The bride wearing a traditional wedding dress entered the ceremony and received applause from the audience. Then the newlyweds bow to each other and Exchange glasses of liqueur marking the end of the wedding ceremony.

Mr. Chatchat Governor of Bangkok, who takes on the role of the groom's senior gave mango as the representative fruit of Thailand, and Mr. Baek Sung-hyun Governor of Nonsan City, who takes on the the role of the bribe's senior Gave strawberries, the representative fruit of Korea, to the newlyweds. To celebrate the exchange of cooperation between Thailand and Korea.

To celebrate today's wedding ceremony, Mr. Cho Jae-il, Director of the Korean Cultural Center, has also prepared a performance of the song 'Gasibeosi Love' by playing Daegeum together with Ms. Yoon Yeo-ju, and Ms. Hong Sung-yeon, Ms. Won Na-kyeong, the cultural experts, and Ms. Kim Hyun-ji, a teacher of Korean folk music.

Lastly, Mr. Chatchat the Governor of Bangkok and Mr. Baek Sung-hyun the Governor of Nonsan City Throw a pair of male and female roosters as a symbol of fertility and harmony, wishing the couple a happy future.

In addition, the governor of Nonsan also gave airplane tickets and lodging cards in Hanok Village as gifts to a Thai-Korean couple as an invitation to the Nonsan Strawberry Festival to be held on March 21st.
