On November 9, 2023, Consul General Euy Whan Kim of New York met with Somjai Taphaopong, the Consul General of Thailand in New York, who visited the consulate as a courtesy call visit. They agreed to cooperate in the areas of economy, culture, education, and consular affairs within their jurisdictions.
