On November 13, 2023, Consul General Euy Whan Kim hosted a meeting with Korean residents in Buffalo, New York, where he listened to their concerns and discussed ways to enhance communication and exchange within the local Korean community. The meeting was attended by Pastor Min Chul Kim of New Hope Presbyterian Church, professors from SUNY Buffalo (Youngki Park, Jangmin Kim, Junghoon Seo, Sun Lee), and college students living in Buffalo. Consul General Kim encouraged the attendees to become a central force in revitalizing the Korean community in Buffalo and outlined plans for the consulate to provide support within its capabilities.
