On November 27, 2023, Consul General Euy Whan Kim of New York met with representatives from New York Metropolitan Opera: Director Shin So-jung, Kendall Hubert (Director of Leadership Gifts and Special Campaigns), and Mia Bongiovanni (Assistant General Manager of Media). During the meeting, they discussed the achievements of Korean vocalists and musicians associated with the Met Opera, the ensemble's activities planned for 2024, and explored opportunities for future collaboration.
