The Korean Cultural Center in Brazil conducted a special cultural class on May 7th and 11th to promote the beauty of Hangul worldwide. Supported by the National Hangul Museum, this calligraphy education titled "Blooming Hangul with Hands" emphasized delivering the value and charm of Hangul to all who love it.
Forty students from the Sejong Hakdang Level 1 class, operated by the cultural center, participated in this session. Although initially unfamiliar with the techniques of Hangul calligraphy, students gradually gained confidence under the meticulous guidance and encouragement of the Teacher Park Roha. Participants expressed high satisfaction with the class, stating: "We felt intimidated at first due to our lack of proficiency in Hangul, but thanks to the teacher's guidance, we were able to enjoy the cultural class".
This education went beyond simply teaching the techniques of Hangul calligraphy, providing an opportunity to deeply understand and experience the unique beauty and artistry of Hangul. Participants learned not only about the visual appeal of Hangul through their own creations but also about the historical and cultural values embedded within it.
