On January 23, 2024, Consul General Euy Whan Kim visited the Americas Society and met with President Susan Segal, Music Director Sebastian Zubieta, Art Director Aime Iglesias Lukin,  and  Senior Advisor and Next Generation Program Coordinator  Pia Fuentealba.

Consul General Kim and President Segal discussed various topics, including Korean artists in Latin America, issues concerning the Korean community, and Korea's soft power. They also explored future collaboration opportunities between Korean and Latin American communities.
