The Korean Cultural Centre in South Africa (KCCSA) proudly commenced a dynamic workshop series last Saturday, 18 May, delving into the vibrant tapestry of Korean culture.
Led by young educators Nathan Mordaunt and Mahlako Mphahlele, both seasoned professionals with extensive teaching experience in South Korea, the inaugural session illuminated the essence of Korean culinary traditions. Drawing from their thorough research and personal immersion in South Korean life, they provided keen insights into the intricacies of Korean food culture, enriched with captivating anecdotes from their time in South Korea as South Africans.
Participants were treated to an immersive culinary experience as they savoured mouthwatering Korean delicacies, applying the knowledge acquired throughout the enlightening session.
The workshop series promises to offer further exploration into various facets of Korean culture, fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation among participants.
