LA City Council congratulates K-pop group RIIZE for contributions to Korean culture
The Los Angeles City Council approved a resolution congratulating K-pop boy band RIIZE for their achievements and contributions to the Korean culture and the city.
RIIZE attended the session of the LA City Council on May 21 where the resolution was presented to them.
The resolution titled “RIIZE” stated that “the bands debut performance was at KCON 2023 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.”
“RIIZE filmed the music video for its debut song, "Get A Guitar" at various locations in Los Angeles, including the iconic Sixth Street Bridge and the Los Angeles Theatre,” it added.
It stated, “Their highly anticipated debut single album, ‘Get a Guitar’ was released on September 4, 2024; it went on to sell over a million copies within the first week of its release. The group has gained the title of a K-pop rising sensation through their record-breaking success.”
