Children painting during the workshop
In partnership with Companhia das Letrinhas (publisher), the Korean Cultural Center in Brazil held an art workshop last Sunday (July 14th) aimed at children to celebrate the launch of South Korean author Suzy Lee's new book.
The workshop was led by mediator and illustrator Jonas Meirelles, who brings 10 years of educational experience. During the event, participants had the opportunity to draw characters from the book 'Summer' and explore mixed media techniques used by the author, such as collage and painting.
The workshop not only helped promote Korean children's literature in Brazil but also provided participants with an enriching experience for playful and creative development. Through events like this, the Korean Cultural Center aims to continue promoting cultural exchange between Korea and Brazil.
