**Introduction of Milmul Dance Company Established in 1984, Milmul Modern Dance Company has striven to contribute to the development of modern dance in Korea through performances that it carried out both in domestic and international stages.
Representing the company, Dr. Lee Sook Jae has been awarded in a number of artistic dance performances such as “The Seoul Culture Awards”, “The Seong Culture Awards(The President’s Award)”, "The Best Artist Award" by Korean Critics Association, "Grand-Prix Award," "Best Dance Composer Prize" in 15th Seoul International Dance Festival organized and sponsored by Korean government, "The Best Choreographer Award," "Music Award" at the 2nd Daegu Dance Festival sponsored by Daegu Association, "Kopanas Award"(Given to the best choreographer) by Korean Modern Dance Association, and "Isadora Artist Award"(Given to the most outstanding contributor for the development of Korean modern dance) by Korea Modern Dance Promotion Council.
