K-Culture Festival, a Huge Success with 30,000 Hallyu Fans in Attendance
The largest K-Culture Festival since the opening of the Korean Cultural Center Turkiye
The "K-Culture Festival," jointly hosted by the Korean Cultural Center Turkiye and the Korea Tourism Organization Istanbul Office, also sponsored by Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, and Osstem Implant, was successfully held on June 29, 2024, at the Ürgüp Festival Outdoor Performance Hall in Nevşehir.
The "K-Culture Festival," which opened on June 29 at 3 PM, featured various zones that allowed attendees to experience different aspects of Korean culture. These included:
The highlight of the event, the K-POP concert, began at 8:30 PM. Even before the event started, the long queue of attendees showcased the immense popularity of K-POP in Turkiye. Around 30,000 spectators from all over the country gathered to watch the concert.
Hosted by the renowned Korean actor and commentator Park Jae-min, the K-POP concert featured stunning performances by Hwasa of the beloved girl group MAMAMOO, celebrated vocalist Lim Hanbyeol and the rookie boy group Nowadays from Cube Entertainment. The concert was a spectacular display of talent, enjoyed by fans from both Korea and Turkiye.
