Kim Duk-soo, a renowned master of Korea's traditional percussion instruments-based indoor performance style known as samulnori (사물놀이), visited Sweden with Ensemble SINAWI to celebrate the national day through their performance.

During his visit, Koreanskt Kulturcenter (the Korean Cultural Center in Sweden) organized an additional event. On September 19th, together with students from Kungl. Musikhögskolan, Kim Duk-soo introduced the essence of traditional Korean percussion and samulnori. The master class also included a first-hand experience of playing the Janggu (장구).
