Events at KCCs abroad

The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles (Director: Sangwon Jung) successfully hosted a Korean Heritage Night at Petco Park in San Diego on September 17th, targeting local American baseball fans.

The event featured Gilnori, Samulnori, traditional Korean dances, and K-pop performances. 70 performers showcased the beauty and charm of Korean culture to local fans. Attendees also had the opportunity to create memories by taking photos in Hanbok and getting Hangeul(Korean alphabet) calligraphy. Korean flags (Taegukgi), American flags, and fans with the Taeguk symbol were distributed to commemorate the Korean cultural celebration.

Youngwan Kim, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Los Angeles, expressed his gratitude to the San Diego fans for their interest in Korean culture and hoped for the continued strengthening and development of the relationship between the two countries.
