Events at KCCs abroad

The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York participated in the K-SMEs Business Networking NY event, hosted by the New York GBC Office of the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME). The event, attended by KOSME Chairman Seokjin Kang, aimed to connect Korean SMEs and startups with investors and trade-related organizations to support their entry into the U.S. market.


During the event, the Consulate General introduced the alliance between trade and investment-related organizations to support SMEs and startups. Eight organizations, including KOSME, KOTRA, the Korea International Trade Association, the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, KEPCO, KHNP, the Korea Maritime Institute, and the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, are collectively working to facilitate the entry of Korean SMEs and startups into the U.S. market. The Consulate General also highlighted the upcoming startup event in New York on October 18, hosted by United Korean Founders (UKF), which will provide additional growth opportunities for Korean startups.
