On October 11, 2024 (Friday), the season opening concert of the Turkiye Presidential Symphony Orchestra was held at the CSO Ada Ankara Ziraat Bankası Main Hall.
The concert featured flutist Kim Yoobin, who recently completed seven years as the principal flutist at the Berlin Konzerthaus and was appointed as the principal flutist of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. She performed Mozart's Flute Concerto No. 2 and the Turkish premiere of the "Zorbas" suite for flute and orchestra by Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis, conducted by Hong Kong-born conductor Wilson Ng. The audience responded with great acclaim. In the second half, Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 was performed.
