In spring 2024, an international jazz exchange program was launched between Hungary and Korea. The first stage of the musical partnership was the concert of SINNOI ensemble in May, which opened up new avenues in Korean music by combining traditional Korean music (gugak) and jazz. In the second half of the season, two more concerts will bring ‘gugak jazz’ to the Hungarian audience. SOOJIN SUH COLORIS TRIO will perform at the Jedermann Jazz Café on 9 November and BANDO at the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary on 10 November.

The concerts are organized in cooperation between JazzFest Budapest, Jarasum Jazz Festival and the Korean Cultural Center in Hungary, with the support of KOFICE.
