The Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles (Director Jeong Sang-won) announced that the K-Cinema Touring event, featuring Director Min Kyu-dong, was successfully held from September 30 to October 2 at Chapman University, UC Irvine and the Korean Cultural Center, LA.

As a representative of the Directors Guild of Korea (DGK), Director Min met with over 100 film students from Chapman University and UC Irvine on September 30 and October 1, hosting a screening of his film The Prayer (2021). During these sessions, he shared insights on the overall Korean film production environment and directing techniques gained over more than 20 years in the industry.

Additionally, on October 2,  The Last Blossom(2011) screening took place at the Korean Cultural Center, followed by a Q&A session with the general audience regarding the film.

Director Jeong Sang-won expressed, "I hope that local film students, who are the future of Hollywood, can broaden their understanding of Korean cinema and that this will serve as a stepping stone for enhancing exchanges between the Korean and American film industries."
